PanARMENIAN.Net – Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan chaired the first session of the Economic Policy Council under the leadership of the Prime Minister of Armenia, which was held via videoconference on Monday, June 6.
“This format is still important now, as the global economy goes through transformative turmoil in the wake of a pandemic, the accelerating pace of digital transformation, climate change and geopolitical tensions. Some of the challenges, such that accelerating inflation rate and disruption of supply chains are particularly difficult for small economies. Armenia is no exception,” Pashinyan said.
“We recorded robust economic growth during the first quarter of 2022, but we understand that longer-term sustainable economic development will largely depend on the flexibility and effectiveness of our reforms and projects today. today.”
